From near or far,
whether straight-laced or merry
Accountant, technician, or secretary

On October 6, 2005, thanks to a great
response from BASF employees and retirees, My BASF Story reached its target
of 140 illustrated stories for 140 years.
Including those in More Stories, My BASF Story has published a total of 292 stories since its launch on April 6, 2005 to mark BASF's 140th birthday.
Forming a diverse and colorful collection of true experiences spanning over five decades, this multi-cultural, multi-faceted portrait gives a voice to individual BASF employees and celebrates the ‘essence' of BASF.
Each personal tale explores the different attitudes and cultures within the company and celebrates our diversity. Individually, every one reflects a small facet of BASF's corporate personality; together they help to paint a collective portrait of BASF.
Rudolf Büssecker, a security guard from Ludwigshafen in Germany was one of the first storytellers to be published on the website. Now he has penned a special poem dedicated to My BASF Story. His words sum up the project perfectly. |
